Set up and sterilize dental instruments.
Ensure that treatment rooms are clean and well-stocked.
Chairside Assisting During Dental Procedures:
Assist the dentist in chairside procedures.
Pass instruments to the dentist during procedures.
Suction saliva and water from the patient's mouth.
Hold and position the patient's dental instruments, retracting tissues to give the dentist a clear view.
Taking Dental X-Rays (Must):
Capture digital x-rays.
Ensure that patients are appropriately shielded to minimize radiation exposure.
Patient Care:
Comfort and reassure patients before, during, and after dental procedures.
Provide postoperative instructions and care information to patients.
Infection Control:
Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
Radiation Safety:
Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations when using X-ray equipment Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant X-Ray certification and taking x-ray is Must Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team and the dentist Fluency in English and Spanish languages is required.
Training will be provided Our Office is Located in Valley Village, Monday through Friday 10:
